Objectives
At the conclusion of this session, learners should be able to:
- Describe principles to guide decision-making for orthopaedic emergencies
- Identify techniques and evidence supporting treatment of fractures in osteoporotic bone
- Outline current issues of moral injury and diversity
Description
The OTA Specialty Society Session features an energetic and entertaining agenda for trauma experts, generalists and international attendees focused on practical strategies for difficult clinical situations, best evidence for contemporary controversies, and highlights from the OTA annual scientific programs.
Target Audience
This meeting is designed for non-full time trauma orthopaedic surgeons.
Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
