Editor-in-Chief Call for Applicants
The OTA is seeking applicants for the position of OTA International Editor-in-Chief. The position description can be found here

About OTA International
In May 2018, the first issue of OTA International was published. The new journal was developed under the direction and support of the OTA Board to further knowledge, foster innovation, support research and education, and promote quality and good clinical practice in the field of orthopaedic trauma within a global setting, using an open access publishing model. An additional goal was to act as an international forum to build relationships and connect orthopaedic trauma surgeons and organizations from around the world. 

Emil H. Schemitsch, MD, served as the first EiC to OTA International. He is acknowledged for his strong leadership and contributions in the successful launch and indexing of OTAI ( Read more ).  Dr. Schemitsch will be transitioning from his current EiC position to a member of the OTA Presidential Line in October 2021. The OTA looks forward to his continued involvement and leadership as he joins the OTA Board of Directors.
