Careers & Practice
The OTA offers several practice management resources including a career center, a trauma profile/salary survey summary, coding cheat sheets, and the very popular OTA Orthopaedic Trauma Coding Course. The job board includes both job posting and job seeking opportunities. This service is complimentary to all seeking career opportunities in orthopaedic trauma.
The OTA has officially launched our new Career Center platform! We are very excited for the new system as it is far more robust and has more to offer to our members and job seekers. OTA members also receive a reduced rate for posting on the Career Center. The trauma profile/salary survey summary provides information on practice and salary demographics and trends. The coding resource page includes both coding cheat sheets and ICD 10 resources.
The Orthopaedic Trauma Coding Course is held annually at the OTA Annual Meeting. Margaret Maley BSN, MS, a consultant with KarenZupko & Associates, Inc.,leads this course which is tailor-made for orthopaedic trauma surgeons (please view the Annual Meeting preliminary program for details).
