Zsolt J. Balogh, MD, PhD, FRACS(ortho), FACS, FIOTA

Dr. Balogh has 29 years of experience and subspecializes in polytrauma, pelvis, and acetabulum. He is currently the Director of Trauma Services at John Hunter Hospital while also serving as a Professor of Surgery at the University of Newcastle. He is also the Chair for the Injury and Trauma Research Program at Hunter Medical Research Institute. Dr. Balogh's research interests include polytrauma, traumatic shock, multiple organ failure, and pelvic and acetabulum fractures. During his free time, Dr. Balogh is trying to save human lives through rewilding and biodiversity restoration.

Dr. Christos Garnavos has 33 years of experience and is currently the Director of the Orthopaedic and Trauma Department of "Evangelismos" General Hospital in Athens, Greece. He subspecializes in musculoskeletal trauma and his research interests include the further development of intramedullary nailing.

Stamatios A.N. Papadakis, M.D., M.Sc., Ph.D., FIOTA

Dr. Papadakis has 34 years of experience and subspecializes in trauma and adult reconstructive surgery. He is currently the head of the B' Department of Orthopaedics at KAT General Hospital in Attica, Greece and previously served as president of the Hellenic Association of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (HAOST) in 2018. Dr. Papadakis considers himself to be a handsome, rich, and modest guy.

Matthaios Savvidis, MD, PhD

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Savvidis is currently the Department Director in the Military Hospital of Thessaloniki, Greece. He subspecializes in trauma, arthroscopy, and knee while his research interests include arthroscopy and basic science. Dr. Savvidis is an experienced trainer in both saw-bones & cadaveric specimens and serves as a board member for the Küntscher Society. He is also an OTC member/trainer, President of the HAOST Trauma Section, and the General Secretary for the Greek Arthroscopy Association.

Olga Savvidou, MD, FIOTA

Dr. Olga Savvidou has 24 years of experience and is currently a professor in orthopedics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Attikon University Hospital in Athens, Greece. Dr. Savvidou subspecializes in upper limb. Her research interests include upper limb, trauma, and osteosarcoma.

Dr. Liebergall has 40 years of experience and is currently the Chairman of the Orthopedic Division at Hadassah Medical Center. He subspecializes in pelvis and long bone trauma and joint replacement. His research interests include computer assisted surgery and bone biology. Dr. Liebergall is devoted to patient's care and will sing during surgery, mainly after midnight.

Subspecializing in the fields of polytrauma and geriatric trauma, he dedicates his professional endeavors to the betterment of patient care in these critical areas. Dr. Miyamoto's research is focused on geriatric trauma. Beyond his scholarly pursuits, he radiates optimism and finds joy in communal gatherings during his leisure hours.

As the esteemed president of the Japanese Society for Fracture Repair, Dr. Noda commands a wealth of expertise cultivated over an illustrious career spanning more than three decades. He subspecializes in pelvis, acetabular, and lower extremity fractures. Presently serving as a distinguished professor, Dr. Noda's research interests include bone union, implant material, and fracture related infection. Beyond the realm of academia, he finds solace and rejuvenation on the tennis court during his leisure time.
