October is Domestic Violence Prevention Month. At OTA's Annual Meeting this year, we hosted a symposium on Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and its relevance to orthopaedic trauma. Domestic Violence aka Intimate Partner Violence is an important issue that can place trauma surgeons in a unique position to identify and respond at a crucial moment.
