Description
The OTA Specialty Day features an energetic and entertaining agenda for trauma experts, generalists and international attendees focused on practical strategies for difficult clinical situations, best evidence for contemporary controversies, and highlights from the OTA annual scientific programs. The morning Session Combined with Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society. The afternoon will feature a combined session with ASES.
- Determine a decision making strategy for limb salvage versus amputation
in severe lower extremity injuries - Identify contemporary operative techniques for lower extremity nonunions
and malunions, including limb length discrepancy - Describe evidence-based recommendations for treatment options when
treating intra-articular upper extremity fractures
