Ankle fractures with syndesmotic injuries are one of the most commonly surgically treated injuries in orthopaedic surgery. Multiple methods of fixation exist to repair syndesmotic disruption. Numerous biomechanical and clinical studies have examined these methods in the past decade. The purpose of this survey is to examine the trends and preferences of orthopaedic trauma surgeons in syndesmotic fixation. Audience: All non-resident and non-fellow OTA members.
