In 1984, OTA was established as a not-for-profit organization to benefit Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeons and the public through musculoskeletal research and education. The Founder Circle is a simple, flexible and versatile way to help sustain the future of orthopaedic trauma research and education through a gift in your estate plans.
If you want to ensure your commitment to the OTA mission becomes your personal legacy, you may be interested in including a gift in your estate plans with a bequest, appreciated securities, gift of life insurance, gift of retirement plans, IRA rollovers, charitable gift annuities, retained life estate, charitable lead trust, or charitable remainder trust. There is no minimum dollar amount required to participate in the OTA Founders Circle. For many types of gifts, we require only a simple statement of your commitment in writing to initiate your planned intention.
As a supporter of the OTA Founders Circle you will share a bond of fellowship knowing your commitment to the next generation of orthopaedic trauma surgeons has the opportunity to excel in leadership, education, research and patient advocacy.
Expressions of gratitude honoring your Founders Circle commitment:
- An opportunity to name a gift in honor of a mentor or a loved one
- Founders Circle participants are recognized each year in the annual report’s honor roll of donors
- Annual invitations to the Leadership Dinner and Reception and Legacy Breakfast at the annual meeting. This exclusive event will honor Founder Circle participants and extend personal acknowledgement for their vision and commitment.
We strive to understand your unique life story and the values that are important to you. We are committed to working with you to ensure you find charitable arrangements that best meet you and your family’s needs and goals.
