OTA offers International Member Full Research Grant submission cycle during the year in a pre-proposal and full proposal format.
- Pre-proposal application process opens in October with mid January deadline. Full Proposal invitation notifications will be emailed by the end of April.
- Full proposal submittals (by invitation only) opens in April with mid-June deadline. Awards notifications emailed by end of November.
Eligibility: The principal investigator must be a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (in good standing) outside of North America and the research must be conducted outside of North America.
OTA will offer two awards for International Grants up to $20,000 each ($10,000 over two years) based on the international member residency according to the World Bank grouping. One award up to $20,000 for lower-middle and low income countries and the second award up to $20,000 to high and upper-middle income countries.
