We also aim to determine the extent to which this collaboration is perceived to result in stronger relationships with other departments. We hypothesize that multidisciplinary meetings will be perceived as beneficial to inter-departmental relationships, but that the frequency of multidisciplinary meetings will be very low. We hypothesize that multidisciplinary meetings are more likely to exist in an academic setting. Lastly, we hypothesize that institutions with routine multidisciplinary conferences are more likely to report a better relationship with those services.

Target: All non-resident and non-fellow orthopaedic surgeon members
