Frequently Asked Questions
If I am an international attendee, how will I be able to participate in the interactive discussion portion of the course?
The discussion portion of the course will take place over the duration of two weeks utilizing the online discussion forum within the course. Section moderators will be regularly participating in the online discussion to ensure consistent and productive conversation. There will be two discussion sections that will take place live as Fracture Night webinars. If you are unable to attend the two live discussion Fracture Night webinars due to time zone differences, the recordings will be uploaded to the course.
If I have applied for OTA membership, why am I unable to register for the course with a member rate?
If you applied for OTA membership during the May cycle, your membership commences on July 1st, 2024. Until then, your status in our database is listed as a nonmember, entitling you only to the nonmember rate for registration. The course begins on July 15th, affording you the opportunity to wait until your official membership begins on July 1st to register as a member and be eligible for the regular member registration rate for the course.
Are PAs and NPs eligible to take this course?
While the target audience for this course is intended for the practicing orthopaedic surgeon who takes emergency room or trauma call, trauma practice professionals are welcome to register. However, it is highly encouraged that they have previously attended the OTA Orthopaedic Trauma for PAs and NPs course.
When does the course end and how long will I have access to the course content?
The final discussion will be taking place during the week of August 19, 2024. All course content must be completed by August 30, 2024. You will have access to all course content until October 30, 2024.
When is the last day to register for the course?
The final day to register for the course is July 30th, 2024. The early bird registration rates end on May 31st, 2024.
