OTA Patient Mental Health Grant

Share

OTA leadership is pleased to announce program development grants for resources for patient mental and social health. Examples of program resources and processes that could be proposed include screening, evaluation, and care for mental and social health opportunities;  development of peer trauma survivor mentorship programming; or  initiation of trauma recovery coaching resources. Other ideas are encouraged.

Awards will be up to $5,000, but require a match from the institution to support the proposal at double the level of the proposal. The Patient Mental Health Task Force is available to answer questions about this new opportunity. Grantees will also have access to task force member input, as mentors, regarding implementation challenges. Proposals are not currently being accepted.

Eligibility: The principal investigator must be a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (in good standing).
