For many years the ilioinguinal approach, as described by Emile Letournel, was considered the mainstay anterior surgical approach for the operative treatment of acetabular fractures. More recently, alternatives, such as the modified Stoppa and pararectus surgical approaches, have gained prominence.

This very short (2 minute) survey is an attempt to determine the current surgeon-preferred anterior surgical approach to the acetabulum.

Target Population: All OTA members who are practicing surgeons.
