Description:
Join the Orthopaedic Trauma Society and the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society as we delve into the complex topic of managing post-traumatic deformity after hindfoot trauma. We will focus on the specific issues concerning preoperative planning as well specific considerations for correction of post-traumatic deformity of the talus and calcaneus. The second half of the webinar will be entirely case-based, with a lively exchange between faculty.
Objectives:
1. Understand the necessary steps for preoperative evaluation and planning
2. Learn specific techniques for management of bone loss with talus deformity
3. Examine specific considerations for correction of alignment after calcaneal trauma.
