Course Description
The 17th Annual Current Solutions in Orthopaedic Trauma will be held in Tampa, Florida from November 15 - November 17, 2019. This course, directed by Roy Sanders, MD, is designed to provide the orthopaedic surgeon with a comprehensive update on the evolving concepts and techniques in orthopaedic trauma. The interactive format will include didactic lectures, case-based discussions, and bioskills lab training, which will highlight the latest technologies and trends in orthopaedic trauma. The distinguished faculty will share their knowledge and expertise on a wide variety of relevant topics related to both upper and lower extremity trauma.

Target Audience
Orthopaedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals whose scope of practice includes orthopaedic trauma.

Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss emerging techniques in upper and lower extremities and compare to current treatment options
  • Apply new concepts for treatment of foot and ankle fractures
  • Understand Femoral Neck and Intertrochanteric Fractures
  • Evaluate and apply new concepts for treatment in Orthobiologics and Infection
