Fracture Specialist/Trauma Surgeon
Concord, New Hampshire
Seeking fourth orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in trauma and fracture care to join our 25-physician multidisciplinary musculoskeletal private group practice in central New Hampshire. A secondary interest outside of trauma would be helpful but not mandatory.
We have a strong collaborative relationship with Concord Hospital, a level II trauma center, with one of the busiest ERs in the state in terms of patient visits per year. The hospital has recently bolstered its staffing in multiple disciplines (general surgery, interventional radiology, neurosurgery, etc) to support a more robust trauma service. We need additional orthopedic fracture expertise to support these efforts. The candidate would be joining fellowship trained trauma surgeons who joined the group several years ago.
Concord Orthopaedics has on-site MRI, two surgery centers dedicated solely to orthopaedics, ancillary programs and several satellite offices. Based on our size and reputation, the practice draws patients from areas well beyond our local service area. Services also include Rheumatology and Physiatry.
Excellent opportunity to be a traumatologist in a private practice setting with little primary call as the group shares the burden while setting up cases for the daylight hours. We offer an excellent salary and benefit package. This position could be a partnership tract or an employed physician tract depending on the needs/desires of the applicant. We are located in central New Hampshire, roughly one hour north of Boston and close to the Lakes Region and White Mountains.
