Orthopaedic Trauma – Academic Clinical Faculty Appointment
University of Kentucky HealthCare
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the University of Kentucky is seeking a fellowship trained Orthopaedic trauma surgeon to join our growing Orthopaedic Trauma service. As the region’s largest level I trauma center (pediatric and adult), UK HealthCare continues to grow and evolve to serve the overall medical needs of more than 3 million people and ranks above the 90th percentile of academic medical centers in patient discharges.
The Orthopaedic Trauma service consists of five full-time faculty and one part-time position as part of a Department with over 40 clinical faculty currently. The candidate will join a busy Department seeing nearly 60,000 ambulatory visits and 8,000 OR cases per year, with our Trauma service accounting for just under 3,000 cases.
