Mercy Clinic is actively seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our established team of 9 orthopedic surgeons with 2 state-of-the-art, campuses that are located only 10 minutes apart: Mercy Hospital Joplin and Mercy Specialty Hospital Southeast Kansas, Galena.

Mercy's Orthopedic groups are a part of Mercy Clinic, a physician-led and professionally-managed multi-specialty group. With over 2,500 primary care and specialty physicians, Mercy Clinic is ranked one of the largest integrated physician organizations in the country.

This Opportunity Includes:

  • Level II Trauma Center in Joplin with approximately 40,000 adult emergency visits 
  • Dedicated Trauma OR block time, Monday-Friday 
  • 5 nights of call/month during one-year guarantee then call rotation of 1:10 
  • Experienced Ortho Trauma PA to work alongside you 
  • PA takes call 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, as well as follow-up clinic 
  • First Class OR with state-of-the-art equipment, HydroWorx therapy pools in the rehabilitation center, surgery center at the Galena campus. 
  • Support from an excellent group of Intensivists and Hospitalists 
  • System-wide Epic EMR
