Position Description:

WakeMed is currently seeking physicians with an interest and fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma to join our well established group in Raleigh, NC. Our team currently consists of 22 physicians and 35 ACP's that provide services at 7 offices throughout the region. Our physicians specialize in spine, hand, trauma, sports, joints, foot & ankle. This position will focus on orthopaedic trauma and will cover call at our Level 1 trauma center. Call is no more than 1:10 nights and is staffed with Ortho residents or APPs. Qualified candidates must be BE/BC.

We are recruiting a 4th Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon for the program. The physician will supervise and work closely with Orthopedic Physician Assistants and have an opportunity for teaching residents.

The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division. The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and/or APPs within their division. The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and understands and supports the mission values, and management of WakeMed.

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time faculty partner joining an established trauma and arthroplasty team in Winston Salem.

Join a busy clinical service with a large volume of high-energy blunt and penetrating trauma. CFVH current practice includes 6 orthopedic surgeons with subspecialty training in arthroplasty, hand and upper extremity, shoulder and elbow, and sports. We have a newly established orthopedic residency in combination with Womack Army Medical Center with 4 residents per year. In addition, the service line is supported by in-office non-operative orthopedic surgeons and physician assistants. Position Summary

The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC) is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible academic orthopaedic trauma surgeon with an interest in arthroplasty to join its team supporting a busy Level 1 Trauma Center. This position will largely be based at the flagship academic medical center of a statewide health care system that includes 13 hospitals and more than 5,000 providers. The successful candidate will hold an academic appointment (open rank – commensurate with experience) and will be expected to teach orthopaedic surgery residents and be actively engaged in scholarship and research. The ability to grow an elective arthroplasty practice and assist in the treatment of periprosthetic fractures will be supported and encouraged.
