Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
Orthopedics New England is a private practice, multi specialty orthopedic group in the suburbs of Boston. We have 10 orthopedic surgeons and 2 physiatrists with six physician assistants. We cover three hospitals that have inpatient physician assistants and residents including Newton Wellesley Hospital, an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham And Women’s Hospital, Metrowest Medical Center, in Framingham, Massachusetts, and Milford Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of University of Massachusetts medical center. The trauma is mostly hip fractures, tibia, ankle, and femur cases. The complex level 1 cases as of now are sent to downtown hospitals. We have our own x-ray and fluoroscopy units, physical therapy department, and surgery center. The surgery center is a joint venture with Shields MRI and has three fully scheduled rooms. We are searching for an orthopedic trauma surgeon to help cover these emergency rooms and the trauma associated with them. We also cover 10 high school and college sports teams. Competitive salary with 401(k) and profit sharing is provided and partnership is the model after 2 years. Trauma call would be 1:4.
