Catholic Health Services of Long Island is recruiting a full time, Board Certified / Board Eligible fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon.  The successful candidate will be based at Good Samaritan Hospital, a busy ACS accredited level II trauma center in West Islip, New York and will be fully integrated into the activities of the Division and Department of Orthopedic Surgery.  This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a collegial, patient-focused organization with a rich history of providing great care to the community.

The NYU Langone Department of Orthopedic Surgery is recruiting a full time, fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeon. All applicants should be board certified/eligible.  The successful candidate will be based at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn, a busy ACS accredited level-1 trauma center in Sunset Park Brooklyn, New York and will be fully integrated into the activities of the Division and the Department.  NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn is a new center for the NYU Langone Department of Orthopedic Surgery residency program and currently has a team of 4 rotating residents from outside programs. 

            We expect the applicant to actively participate in clinical care of patients including “on-call” responsibilities as well as in the on-going research within the trauma service.  The NYU Langone Department of Orthopedic Surgery is a national leader in resident education.  The candidate will participate in the education of our residents, research activities and be involved with the Orthopaedic Trauma Association.
