The Inova Regional Trauma Center at Inova Fairfax Hospital has an opening for a full-time Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon to join an existing group of four full-time orthopaedic trauma surgeons. Candidates must be fellowship trained in Orthopaedic Trauma and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
Inova Fairfax Hospital, located in Falls Church, VA, is Northern Virginia’s only Level 1 trauma center for both adults and children, and is the busiest trauma center in the Commonwealth of Virginia. In 2008, there were 80,000 Emergency Department visits and more than 3,800 trauma patients treated from Fairfax County, surrounding counties, and states.
The institution is also a partner teaching facility and off-site rotation for orthopedic residents and medical students from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Walter Reed Army Medical Center/Bethesda National Naval Medical Center, and the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.
