For those needing specific orthopaedic devices:
Following are orthopaedic device companies who are willing to handle direct requests from orthopaedic surgeons needing specific devices. Please contact these groups directly for assistance.


     DePuy is responding to the needs of trauma care in Haiti by partnering with J&J US preferred partners, Medical Teams International (MTI) and Surgical Implant Generation Network (S.I.G.N.). The names of the health facilities these services are being provided include Hopital Adventiste d'Haiti in Port-au-Prince, a 70-bed facility built in 1978 and sponsored by Loma Linda University, USS Comfort, Navy Ship, Community Hospital.  SIGN website: http://www.sign-post.org


    Smith Nephew contributed surgical instruments and implants are being distributed in Haiti by Hope Force International (HFI) www.hopeforce.org  . Orthopedic surgeons who are trained to use these instruments and who are traveling to Haiti to assist in the relief effort are instructed to contact HFI in the United States at (615) 371-1271 or info@hopeforce.org.  

The primary base of surgical operations and implant distribution for HFI is King’s Hospital in Port-au-Prince , although more distribution points may be established in order to more widely deliver the donated implants across the country.
